- שְׁנָתוֹתf. pl. (v. שן) teeth-like marks. Men.IX, 2 (87b) ש׳ היו בהיןוכ׳ the Hin measure in the Temple had marks: so far for the meal-offering to go with the bullock ; B. Bath.86b. Sabb.80b אלא אמר … ש׳ but, said R. K., (the andifé of the Mishnah means, enough time to whiten) the marks of a vessel.
